Check-in at Infinity on the Beach begins at 3 PM.
Check-out is at 12 Noon at Infinity on the Beach.
Yes, you can. We accept Visa, Master, and American Express credit cards.
Full payment is due at the time of booking for non-refundable offers. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required for all other bookings, with the full balance due 7 days prior to arrival. Upon check-in, we require a fully refundable security deposit, which may be done in cash or as a pre-authorization on your credit card. All incidentals and other charges are settled at the time of departure.
We have fully accessible rooms on the oceanside of the property. The restaurant is also fully wheelchair accessible. As there are no elevators on property, our upper floors would not be wheelchair accessible.
Only our Penthouse suites offer self-catering facilities. All other room categories are standard hotel rooms which all offer mini-fridges.
Late check-out is offered subject to availability. If available, there is usually a charge of US $75 to stay in the room up until 5 PM. For a check-out after 5 PM, you would be required to book the room for an additional night.
There are no elevators on property.
In keeping with the laws of Barbados smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms and any covered areas; this includes patios and balconies. To ensure that non-smokers are not negatively impacted smoking is also not allowed on the pool decks. There are designated smoking areas on the deck of the restaurant, along the walkway in front of the lobby and in the fully enclosed courtyard on the eastern side of the property.
No, pets are not allowed at the property.
Yes, Infinity on the Beach has a restaurant on property. Sea Fans Beach Bar and Restaurant is open 7 AM - 11 PM and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It is possible to arrange pickup from the airport. It is typically $27 US for up to 4 persons. Please let us know your name and flight details and we would be able to arrange this for you.
Infinity on the Beach is 11 km from the airport or approximately a 15-minute drive away.
Yes, we do! Our gym is open from 7 AM – 7 PM. Please ask our Front Desk agent if you wish to use it outside of regular hours.
Yes, we do. Our Bresmay conference room offers you 1,300 square feet of special event space. It is the perfect venue for weddings, receptions, conferences, luncheons, seminars and more. Contact our Guest Services agents for more information on how to book this space.
Infinity on the Beach is a 66-room property located directly on Dover Beach in St. Lawrence Gap. There are two sides of the property, the landside and the seaside, which are separated by the Gap itself. The landside room categories are the Standard Poolview Room and the One Bedroom Poolview. The landside also houses our large adult pool, our gazebo and our gym. The seaside room categories are the Standard Oceanside Room, Superior Oceanview Room, One Bedroom Oceanside Room and the Duplex Penthouse. The seaside of the property is where you can find our kiddie pool and Sea Fans Beach Bar and Restaurant.

What is your cancellation policy?
Currently, we allow cancellation up to 7 days before your check-in dates. Please keep in mind that your deposit is non-refundable.
Is Front Desk open 24 hours?
A Front Desk agent will be on duty between the hours of 7 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
Where can I leave my luggage while I wait to depart the hotel?
If your room isn’t yet ready or if you have an early check-out, we can store your luggage for you free of cost.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available all throughout the hotel, restaurant and onto the beach in front of the property. Upon check-in, our Front Desk agent will give you the password. It can also be found in your copy of the welcome letter.
Is it an all-inclusive hotel?
No, we don’t offer all-inclusive rates. However, meal plans can be added. We currently have breakfast packages, half-board (breakfast and lunch) and full-board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) packages.
Is breakfast included in the price?
Breakfast is not usually included in the price unless specifically stated. Our rates are usually room only. A breakfast meal plan can be added at a supplement of US $13 per night per person.
Is room service available?
Yes, room service is available between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Room service charges will apply.
How many pools do you have?
There are two pools on property. The “kiddie” pool is located on the seaside of the property and is 3ft deep. The larger pool is located on the landside of the property and is 4.5ft deep.
Are prices quoted per room or per person?
The prices are usually quoted for a maximum of double occupancy (two persons sharing the room). There will be an additional charge for any extra persons in the room.
Do you offer beach towels?
Beach towels are free for guests. At the beginning of your stay, you are required to make a fully refundable deposit of US $10 for use of the beach towels. During your stay, you can change your towels as often as needed. You can either receive fresh towels or a towel card when returning the towels. At the end of your stay, on the return of the towels or the towel cards, your deposit is returned.
Do I have to pay for a beach chair/umbrella?
Beach chairs are free for resident guests of the hotel. Beach umbrellas come at a fee of US $5 per umbrella per day. Please note that beach chairs cannot be reserved.
Where should we exchange our beach towels?
You can exchange your beach towels at the Front Desk. Our agents will be happy to assist you.
When is happy hour?
Sea Fans Beach Bar and Restaurant has two happy hours from 12 noon – 1 P.M. and 5 P.M. - 6 P.M.
What time does the bar close?
The bar is open from 10 AM until 11 PM for all patrons.
Do you offer laundry services?
Yes, we do offer a laundry service. It is available during housekeeping hours and comes at a cost of US$12.00 per 15-pound load.
When are housekeeping hours?
Housekeeping hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
What is there to do at the hotel?
During the day there are many options on the beach including boogie boarding, surfing, jet skiing and other water sports (charges may apply). We also provide buffets on Sundays for breakfast and lunch. In addition, the St. Lawrence Gap is a central entertainment area so you are assured you will find something to suit your tastes.
Do you offer Day Passes?
Our Day Pass is US $37.50 per adult and comes with US $17 redeemable in food and beverage credit. It is US $18.50 for children 12 and under and comes with US $8.50 redeemable in food and beverage credit. The Day Pass runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and grants access to both our pools, our beach chairs and towels, and our free Wi-Fi. Snorkels and boogie boards are available on request. Discounts on Jet Ski rides may also be available.
How do I get the bus to Bridgetown?
Once you leave the hotel, turn to the left and head up the hill, keeping Dover pasture on your right side. Once you pass Braddie’s barkeep going until you reach a junction to the main road. The bus stop will be on your right. From there you can catch either a blue or yellow bus, or a white ZR van marked Bridgetown.
How much is bus fare?
Bus fare is US$1.75 or BDS$3.50 BDS per person per trip. Please note that United States coins are not accepted in Barbados so it is best to have Barbados change for the buses.
How do I get to Oistins?
You can either use public transportation to get to Oistins, or we can arrange transportation for you. By public transport, you take the same road to the bus stop as if you were catching a bus to Bridgetown. Instead of the bus stop on the right, cross the road and walk down until you see the bus stop. An Oistins, Silver Sands or 3D van would take you into Oistins.
What is a good time to go?
A good time to visit Oistins would be on Friday nights when they have their weekly fish fry. Ask our Guest Services Team about our shuttle service there and back.
How much is the taxi there/back?
Typically, a taxi would be US$13 to get to Oistins. On Fridays, we offer a shuttle service for the Fish Fry. Ask about it at Guest Services.
Where is the closest ATM/Bank?
To reach the closest ATM take a right turn out of our lobby and walk for about 250m (about 5 minutes) along the St. Lawrence Gap. It is located on the left side of the road and will be clearly marked. It is next to the arcade. This ATM is from RBC Bank. There is also a second ATM that can be reached by taking a left turn as you exit the hotel lobby. It is about 500m (10 minutes) walk away. This ATM is a Blue Machine, from Republic Bank.
How much is the taxi from/to the airport/port/Bridgetown?
Taxis in Barbados have varying prices. To and from the airport will be approximately US$25. To Bridgetown, it will be approximately US$18. To the port, it will be approximately US$23, while it will be approximately US$25 to the world-renowned Kensington Oval.
How far are you from the airport/Bridgetown/Oistins?
We are 11 kms from the airport, about a 15-minute drive in regular traffic conditions. We are 7.6 kms from Bridgetown, about a 15-minute drive in regular traffic conditions. We are 3.7 kms away from Oistins, about an 8-minute drive in regular traffic conditions.
Can I rent a car from the hotel or nearby?
Yes. Car rental companies in Barbados deliver to the hotel so just check with our Guest Services agent to make arrangements for your rental.
Where is the closest supermarket/convenience store?
There are a number of small convenience stores along the gap, all within 10- minute walk. The largest of these would be Dover Mart. For a wider variety, you can visit the Massy Supermarket in Worthing.
Where is the nearest pharmacy?
The nearest pharmacy is at Elcourt Clinic, about a 10-minute walk away.
Is the water safe to drink?
Yes, it is safe to drink our water.
How safe is the island?
Barbados is known to be a relatively safe island. We recommend that our guests take all the same common-sense precautions they would at home including leaving valuable and large sums of money in the safe, avoiding unlit and lonely areas, among others.
What are the best beaches?
Our own Dover beach is quite lovely. Other notable beaches would be Carlisle Bay and Miami beach.
What are the must-see attractions?
Harrison’s Cave, St. Nicholas Abbey with its new train ride, Garrison Savannah Historic Area, Mount Gay Distillery and Hunte’s Gardens are among some of the must-see attractions in Barbados. Ask our guest services agent about booking your tours.
What’s a good place to get local food? Where is the best place to eat?
Sea Fans Beach Bar and Restaurant, our on-site dining option, offers a delicious array of local food at an affordable price. If you would like to venture out further, St. Lawrence Gap has all sorts of dining experiences, from food stalls to fine dining.
What’s there to do nearby?
St. Lawrence Gap houses many restaurants, bars, shops, and nightclubs and we’re located right in the heart of it. You’ll always be able to find something to do, whether it be karaoke, a nightclub or a good ole’ Bajan “lime”. Our lovely beach also offers possibilities for lounging or water sports.
Will it rain today? What is the weather usually like at this time of year? When is it rainy season?
In Barbados, we can almost guarantee sunshine as rain is usually intermittent and followed shortly after by sunny skies. However, it is important to note that we do have a rainy season and the heaviest rainfall is usually experienced in September to November. Rain is generally more frequent during hurricane season, which runs from June to November. The dry season runs from December to mid-April, where days are less humid.
Will there be seaweed? When will the seaweed go away?
The seaweed is a natural occurrence and, unfortunately, we cannot predict its presence or how severe or mild it will be.
